About Jordyn Smith
Evolutionary Astrologer
Jordyn Smith is a certified Evolutionary Astrologer. Her certification is through the Jeffery Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology School. She is based in Western Massachusetts, where she lives with her two children and four animals on three acres of land. Her journey into astrology began during her Saturn Return while living in her hometown of Oklahoma City.
Prior to discovering Evolutionary Astrology, Jordyn worked with adolescent females struggling with mental health challenges, using creative writing as a tool to help them process trauma and addiction. She also was a keynote speaker for the Oklahoma City YWCA and United Way, helping to raise awareness about domestic violence. She played a key role in advancing legislation in Oklahoma that supports women and their parental rights. Before becoming an astrologer, she also helped to remodel the Oklahoma City Justice Center to serve the needs of women and families experiencing adversity. She consulted on the board in 2014 to help the Justice Center understand how to better provide resources for women and families needing support while experiencing adversity through domestic violence.

This work approaches astrology as a tool for self-awareness, helping individuals understand emotional patterns, navigate life transitions, and make more conscious, intentional choices.
Rooted in Evolutionary Astrology, it is not designed to provide fixed answers or prediction for its own sake, but to support a deeper relationship with your own experience.
Astrology here is used to bring clarity to how you are participating in your life—emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and over time.
Practice & Teaching
Evolutionary Astrology in lived experience
For the past seven years, Jordyn has been using Evolutionary Astrology in client work, helping individuals navigate their soul’s journey with greater clarity and authenticity.
Beginning in 2021, she taught Evolutionary Astrology in the Oklahoma City metro area, guiding students to reconnect with their inner voice and move beyond societal conditioning, and wounding. Throughout the years she has expanded her practice worldwide. Since relocating to Massachusetts, she is cultivating deeper community connections in order to better serve the area she lives in.
Jordyn’s teaching covers topics such as Natural Law, sexuality, karmic family and personal relational dynamics, trauma within the natal chart, and the reclaiming of personal authority, with a focus on helping individuals understand the deeper “why” of this lifetime and embrace their authentic nature. Jordyn also helps clients who are navigating grief by using astrology as a tool to do so. This came from Jordyn's own personal experiences of grief and how she turned to Evolutionary Astrology to navigate her own journey with it. Through that experience she realized how powerful the "tool" of astrology can be when dealing with physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual hardship pertaining to grief. This opened her up to wanting to share what she has learned through that journey.
She loves to weave the archetypes held within different myths in order to connect more deeply with the archetypal nature reflected in the astrology. Realizing that this helps others to be able to embody their own astrology in an accessible way.
Jordyn has an affinity for using astrology to bring awareness to social justice issues and utilizes it for activism.
Education & Collective Work
Teaching, lecturing, and community engagement
Jordyn has shared her work through the Evolutionary Astrology YouTube channel (EA Zoom Meetings), the Astro School, the Washington State Astrological Association, and as a lecturer for the Jeffrey Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology Association (JWGAEA) Annual Conference. She will also be speaking in 2026 at UAC (United Astrology Conference) in Chicago.
She has also led classes exploring Oklahoma’s history through an Evolutionary Astrology lens, highlighting the collective dynamics that shape a community and how historical patterns continue to influence present experience.
She continues to work with clients one on one worldwide, teaching online workshops, and teaches through the Jeffrey Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology Association, while expanding her offerings to include in-person workshops in Western Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley.

Instead, it is grounded in using astrology as a tool for self-awareness—helping you recognize patterns, understand your emotional experience, and navigate your life with greater clarity and intention.
It is a reflective process, not a directive one.

Ethics & Scope of Practice
PURPOSE OF THIS WORK
My astrology practice is rooted explicitly in Evolutionary Astrology, through the lineage of Jeffrey Wolf Green. This approach understands the birth chart as a symbolic reflection of the soul’s ongoing evolutionary journey across lifetimes, emphasizing intention, choice, and conscious participation in growth.
Astrology is used here as a tool for self-reflection, symbolic integration, and increased awareness of karmic patterns, evolutionary intentions, and cyclical development. The chart is not approached as a fixed fate or predictive mandate, but as a living symbolic language describing the relationship between past conditioning and present-moment choice.
This work supports insight, responsibility, and conscious engagement with life experience. Clients are always regarded as the ultimate authority on their own lived experience and evolutionary path.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Within an Evolutionary Astrology framework, I offer astrological interpretation, education, and reflective guidance. This may include exploration of karmic themes, evolutionary intentions, psychological patterns, unconscious material, archetypal dynamics, and cycles of growth as symbolically reflected in the natal chart, transits, and progressions.
Consistent with Jeffrey Wolf Green’s teachings, astrology is used to illuminate choice points and areas of consciousness development rather than to predict fixed outcomes. The purpose of interpretation is to support awareness and self-responsibility.
I do not provide psychotherapy, counseling, mental health diagnosis, or medical treatment. Astrology sessions are not a substitute for licensed mental health care, medical care, or crisis support.
USE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL & JUNGIAN LANGUAGE
Evolutionary Astrology naturally interfaces with psychological and Jungian concepts, particularly archetypes, complexes, shadow material, projection, and individuation. These terms are used symbolically and archetypally, not clinically.
In alignment with Evolutionary Astrology, psychological language is applied to describe patterns of consciousness, conditioning, and evolutionary intent rather than diagnoses or disorders. Interpretations are offered as reflective possibilities, never as statements of pathology, certainty, or psychological assessment.
CLIENT AGENCY & CONSENT
Client agency is central to Evolutionary Astrology. The chart reflects potential, conditioning, and evolutionary themes—but how these symbols are lived remains a matter of free will, awareness, and choice.
Astrological work is collaborative and consent-based. Clients are encouraged to engage critically, ask questions, and discern what is meaningful or accurate for them. No interpretation is imposed as absolute truth.
Astrology does not remove personal responsibility, free will, or choice; rather, it seeks to illuminate them.
EMOTIONAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL BOUNDARIES
Astrology sessions focus on awareness and understanding rather than emotional processing or trauma work. If intense emotional material arises, sessions may be gently redirected toward grounding and symbolic integration.
If a client is experiencing acute psychological distress, trauma activation, dissociation, or crisis, I may recommend working with a licensed mental health professional alongside or instead of astrological consultation.
REFERRALS & SUPPORT
I value ethical care and appropriate support. Referrals to licensed therapists, counselors, or other qualified professionals may be suggested when concerns fall outside the scope of astrological practice.
Seeking outside support is viewed as an act of strength and self-responsibility.
PREDICTIVE ETHICS
In keeping with Evolutionary Astrology principles, this practice avoids fatalism, deterministic prediction, and fear-based forecasting. No chart placement, transit, or progression is interpreted as guaranteeing specific events, outcomes, or limitations.
Astrological symbols are understood to have multiple expressions that evolve through levels of consciousness. Emphasis is placed on awareness, choice, and how symbols are consciously or unconsciously expressed over time.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All client information and session content are kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a concern of imminent harm.
ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY
Ethical astrology requires humility, continual learning, and respect for the limits of this modality. This practice is guided by integrity, care, and respect for the complexity of the human psyche.
By engaging in this work, clients acknowledge an understanding of the symbolic nature and scope of astrological consultation.
