Venus in Pisces & Mercury Trine Uranus

Hello Everyone,

I know that I already put the forecast out for this week where I went into some of these aspects that I am going to talk about. I felt the need to further go into Venus in Pisces, what is happening while she is moving into this sign, and also, Mercury trine Uranus and what is happening while that occurs. I will include the charts of both events, and I will also post a video for this. So, let me walk you all through this!

When we are looking at Venus and her cycles/transits, we are looking at how we inwardly and outwardly relate to others and to ourselves. Each sign that Venus moves through teaches us and reveals more to us about these dynamics within and projected out. Through this learning process, Venus facilitates the growth that can occur within our own relationship to self and to others. Venus helps us to understand our own inner working relationship to self. Meaning, she teaches us about our own needs, values, and what gives us meaning. Venus also teaches us about our relational expectations and experiences. How we are able to give and to receive. When we are projecting our needs onto others instead of meeting our own needs. This is symbolic of her being co ruled (Taurus, our inner relationship to self, and Libra, our relationships to others).

When we look at the sign of Pisces, relative to Venus, we are looking at the culmination (Pisces) of a variety of relational dynamics that have been set in motion for a very long time. The last time Venus was in Pisces was April 6, 2022 to May 3, 2022. So, when looking at Venus in the sign of Pisces, we are looking at this whole period of time from April 6, 2022 until now. We are all being called to review and understand the culminating relational dynamics that have been at play since April of last year. What was going on for you? How has your relationship to self changed? How have you been learning the lessons of giving and receiving?

Venus in Pisces can teach us lessons about illusions, delusions, deception, and fantasy. Venus in the sign of Pisces teaches us this through the lesson of crisis that leads to discernment. So, when we are looking at this Venus transit, we are looking at where we have experienced these phenomena. Ultimately, if you have experienced this, the lesson is to learn discernment. The ability to look at the actual truth as it is occurring instead of only seeing the potential of what could, or you hope would be. When we resist the urge to look at the truth, we can experience disillusionment; “you aren’t who I thought you were”. This is a painful and universal (Pisces) experience that can happen to all. This experience helps us to understand the lesson of discernment and also, it helps us to readjust back to reality, or the truth. To honor that and not try to control (Virgo/polarity of Pisces). Within Venus in Pisces, we can have events triggered externally to learn these lessons. Another core lesson in Venus in Pisces is one of victimization and feeling powerless. There is a call to look at where we feel powerless or victimized. Through looking at these dynamics we can see and discern if our choices in fact played a part in creating this situation. Through understanding this we can then free ourselves of this mentality and gain natural authority and responsibility over oneself. No longer calling in the habituation of these themes. Where have you felt powerless, or you didn’t have a choice? Where do you need to forgive (Pisces) yourself for the choices you made?

Through utilizing the polarity of Pisces, Virgo, we get to purge or clear out any type of relational dynamics that are in excess. There is an even deeper teaching here regarding our values, to release the temporal values that are not in alignment with our soul nature, and to draw in natural, spiritual, and timeless values instead. This is why when we experience disillusionment, not only is it in the form of some type of crisis, but also, it’s a purification of what doesn’t sit well within the soul. It serves to readjust as a way to cleanse the soul from the values that no longer serve it, especially values that stem from our upbringing of a familial, societal, or religious nature; MANMADE. The call within all of this releasing is to dissolve these things from our consciousness, and to embrace a higher meaning or cause within our lives. To not look for ultimate meaning outside of ourselves/external. For when we look to ultimate meaning outside of ourselves it creates an imbalance within and can lead to the experience of crisis and disillusionment. Through dissolving temporal values, we then can attract people to us that have values that match our own. This Venus cycle is all about purging and purifying the values that have no resonance with us on a natural level, the feeling of “holding an empty cup”. This exhaustion of these dynamics creates a new experience for us to follow our own universal truth within and to seek within instead of externally. To foster our own relationship to self and to the Universe within.

Venus enters Pisces on January 26th, 2023 at 8:33 PM/CST. This comes after she squared the Nodal Axis a couple of weeks ago in the sign of Aquarius. She then was conjunct Saturn on the New Moon in Aquarius. This symbolized a period of time where we were being called to look back at the inner psychological and emotional nature of ourselves. What our relationship dynamics have been in the past, and how we went about getting our needs met that created dependencies of all types. Through this review of looking at the past, our motivations behind our relational choices, and our conditioning that led to those choices…we are able to clear space of crystallized structures within that were promoting a non-growth situation; resistance. This came only from detaching emotionally through objective awareness. Through this awareness we are then able to transmute (Scorpio) these past experiences and learn about self-reliance, new values, new needs, and then radically alter our relationship to self. Thus, creating new structures within that perpetuate solid foundations to catapult deeper and more meaningful person growth. The need has been, to become self-secure and self-reliant.

Now that Venus will be entering the sign of Pisces and ruled by Neptune in Pisces, she will be in a variety of conversations with other planets symbolizing what all we are going to be working with through this transit as we culminate a whole cycle of relational dynamics. Here is the conversation/aspects Venus will be making as she enters the sign of Pisces:

*semi-square to Chiron in Aries

*applying square to Mars in Gemini

*semi-square to Mercury in Capricorn

*moving out of a New Phase conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius

*Venus is the ruler of Uranus in Taurus (current Uranus transit)

With Venus (Neptune ruler) semi-square to Chiron in the sign of Aries (Mars the ruler) in a balsamic phase we can see that there is slight friction under the surface. There is a feeling of “newness” on the horizon, but the key with this aspect and phase is to discern (Pisces) when to act (Aries) and when to retreat. Chiron in the sign of Aries wants us to formulate a new identity that is in alignment with ourselves on a natural level. We have to look at where we have felt overpowered by others in the past with this conversation and get to the bottom of it. Did this affect your choice you made in the past? Did you feel powerless because you felt deceived by your situation? Venus is the ruler of Uranus in Taurus right now. This asks for one to detach (Uranus) from our situations that we are ruminating over, through objectifying the reality instead of staying subjective. Asking oneself, “why on a soul level did I call in this dynamic to be worked on?” creates the objectification needed for awareness to come through. Pisces in this conversation with Chiron asks us to look at the truth about our own suffering and to see that the truth is, we are not here to do that. We must make a choice (mars in Gemini, ruler of Chiron) about what action (Aries) we need to take to understand that not having a choice in our own suffering is an illusion (Pisces). This is also seen with Pisces Venus applying into a square with Mars in Gemini. There is a reformulation underway of how we perceive and experience our reality and how we communicate that to ourselves. How can you recontextualize or reframe your way of thinking? What new choices come from utilizing this “tool”?

Venus will also be semi-square to Mercury in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn in Aquarius). There is a call to commit to oneself by asking and answering our own questions from within. To utilize the Aquarian archetype of liberation through objective awareness. The way to see the truth of what is occurring is by creating the objective awareness necessary to make the new choices that create new circumstances for us to utilize. The semi-square in both conversations Venus is having pull in a Libra *feel* to these conversations. This means that something has reached an imbalance and we must learn how to discern how to come back into alignment with that. To be in harmony. Venus semi-square to Mercury asks us to look at the ways in which an imbalance has occurred within our thinking and understanding about our relationships. Have you been giving all of yourself in hopes that someone else will return the favor? If this is the case, then expectations and dependencies need to be reviewed objectively in order to understand how to meet one’s own needs. The expectations we are having of others can then be dissolved and self-security can be initiated. For a lot of people right now they are looking at the imbalances that have been created through their expectations and from the delusion of only seeing the potential. This is a time to learn (Mercury) about these dynamics and then through this analysis, one can then create discernment (Pisces) and correct judgment (Capricorn). This serves as a catalyst to rebel against the old behavioral and relational habituations. Dissolving the old way of being and relating in relationships and to ourselves.

On January 29th, 2023, at 7:58 PM/CST Mercury in the sign of Capricorn will trine Uranus in the sign of Taurus. Mercury is ruled by Saturn in the sign of Aquarius and Uranus is ruled by Venus in the sign of Pisces. This astrological conversation speaks to information being disseminated to us all through the function of objective awareness. Mercury retrograde ended January 18th. That was a 20 day time period from when Mercury stationed retrograde and then until it was direct. During this time period we were all called to enact our own natural authority my asking and answering our own questions for ourselves. By allowing the information to come through and to be intuited. There was an emphasis on the right, intuitive side of the mind. Mercury currently, is still in its shadow period until it reaches the 24° mark of Capricorn. With Mercury now in a disseminating trine to Uranus, whilst still being in it’s retrograde shadow, shows that this a time where we can have those answers we asked come into the mind. This only happens through the objective awareness about our situations that Uranus lends itself to. Through objective awareness the information now comes through in a linear way of expression. This serves the purpose to continue to help us radically alter our relationship to ourselves. This comes through in the form of new values and needs being revealed. As this is revealed to us through objectivity, we are then more able to make a choice as to how to go about living these new values in the here in now, day to day. For some this is occurring through objective awareness about where they have given ultimate meaning outside of themselves. Venus will also trine the South Node in Scorpio, asking us to dissolve the old ways of being in relationship. Through Venus’ conversation with the South Node we can better understand and get to the bottom of values that that are delusive and manmade. This serves to release us of temporal values and to connect us to universal and timeless values instead. Through this understanding we develop a deeper and more spiritual relationship with ourselves instead of seeking meaning outside of ourselves. Venus’ ruler, Neptune will be in a semi-square to the Sun in Aquarius. This speaks to the friction beneath the surface we feel that constitutes where we need to liberate, and that our integration point of dealing with all of these dynamics is through the Aquarian nature of liberation through objective awareness. We are all asked to get to the bottom of our illusions and delusions. Especially of a manmade nature, since the South Node is ruled by Pluto in Capricorn. This also symbolizes a time that we are being asked to initiate (Capricorn) a new cycle of evolutionary growth, but first we must continue to go back and sift through our underlying emotional tendencies. With Pluto being ruled by Saturn in Aquarius that is linked to Uranus in Taurus, we are all being given the opportunity for this liberation process to occur that ultimately creates transformation (Aquarius) through metamorphosing or transmuting (Pluto, Scorpio) prior circumstances. The deep lesson or teaching within this whole conversation because it pulls in Saturn/Capricorn and the water trine in astrology (Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces) is that liberation (Aquarius, Saturn, Uranus) in relationship to Capricorn (Mercury and Pluto) comes through reflection (Capricorn), and through reflection we become aware, through this awareness we can liberate (Aquarius).

So we can all see that there is a higher calling to go back and to reflect on the areas that we have repressed, suppressed, or felt oppressed. Through this reflection we can create discernment and liberation that ultimately dissolves the past circumstances and creates a radical shift within ourselves. There is a need for us to do this, it will be hard for most because what is “known” indicates where we feel secure as the human species. There’s a reason why so many resist (Pluto) the urge or soul calling to do this. It is hard work, but necessary work. The change you wish to see can only be done through this dynamic.

I hope that this reflection on these powerful transits help everyone to grow and to evolve. Remember that the value is in the effort. Don’t let Capricorn “defeating thoughts” tell you different, it is an illusion (Pisces).
