The Underbelly of Our Past Relationships and the Revelation on how to Move Forward Metamorphically

This week on the 22nd or 23rd depending on where you are at in the world, Venus entered the sign of Scorpio where she will inhabit until the 17th of October.

Upon Venus’ entry into the deeply emotional and psychological sign of Scorpio she was conjunct the planetary south nodes of Venus and Mars, where this will be felt throughout the entire week. In this chart, Venus is in the third house with Libra on the cusp. This speaks to the need for us all to look within to learn more about ourselves and the dynamics that have transpired in the past with others and WHY. This is so we can move ahead and metamorphose our relationships. Metamorphosis is about completely altering a structure. From one structure (a tadpole or a caterpillar) we create an entirely new one (frog, butterfly, moth). This is doubled down with Pluto in Capricorn at 29° in the 6th house ruling this Venus and the south nodes of Mars and Venus.

Venus in the sign of Scorpio can trigger all types of inner dynamics where we have experienced betrayal, loss, abandonment, and the misuse of power. With Venus ingress happening in the 3rd house, we are called to use the information that becomes unearthed within us at this time, then to self-examine with Pluto in Capricorn to understand through the distillation of that information that there is a new structure wanting to occur. This new structure means we are called to look at how we participated in prior events that led to the Scorpionic emotions that can surface. We are called to not project the past onto the future but from an inner gnosis, make a correct judgement on how to move ahead. This helps us to metamorphose the structures of our relationships and how we relate to others. Putting to bed the prior way of navigating our inner and outer relationships through the information that arises.

This is also seen with Uranus, the Sun and the South Node of the Moon both being ruled by Venus at this time. As we take in our own inner knowing and knowledge through reflecting on the past, we transform our inner relationship to self through becoming more emotionally self-reliant. This creates a ripple effect into our other relationships and cultivates more balance and harmony. This transit also gives us an opportunity to utilize the natural expression of Capricorn, the need to discern through stepping back and taking a look at whether or not we are perpetuating old emotional patterns in our relationships or creating new structures and patterns through correct choice making and judgement on our own actions.

Again, because Pluto is in the 6th house of this chart, we are called to practice these dynamics through pausing and self-reflection. To check ourselves when emotions surface and ask ourselves whether or not we are projecting our past fears, emotions, trauma, and psychology onto the current moment. As we ask ourselves these deeper questions, we can understand why in the past we have made certain choices out of fear of loss or control of the known.

With Saturn in Pisces retrograde in the 7th, ruling Pluto, this helps us see a recurring pattern/signature that denotes a dissolving of the old through understanding the prior structures in order for a new structure to be metamorphosed.

On the 25th, Mercury in Virgo will oppose Neptune while Mars and the Moon are conjunct in Cancer. This helps us understand what needs to be improved upon to continue to transcend prior limitations in the ways in which we think. What we have learned and how we think has structured our emotional reality and this transit helps us to continue to understand what is not working and how to move ahead into the future. This can also be a time where we need to express ourselves or to communicate information that can continue to help promote our own healing. On this day, for some there is a lesson in responding instead of reacting with Mars conjunct the Moon in Cancer. Emotional tensions can fly high, and this asks for us to have an emotionally mature and responsible response.

Later in the day, Mercury will move into a trine with Pluto. This helps us to purge the old thinking and forms of expression that have perpetuated old relational structures in our lives. This transit also helps us to understand what structures in our lives on all different levels need more clarity. It has the propensity to give us that clarity that we are wanting in our lives. For some this helps us to understand what purposeful work needs to be done to help cultivate a higher ideal around how we stand out in the world and how we are meant to be of service to others through our own right work.

On the 26th, Mercury enters the sign of Libra where it will now be ruled by Venus in Scorpio. This transit helps us to apply the information we have been coming to know and understand about ourselves and then to communicate it to others. This transit also helps us take in information from others through improving upon how we listen and share with others. For some there can be lessons in discerning whom to share with and whom not to.

This can also help us understand how we communicate with others and if it is received or not heard. How to move into the future as we take in the knowledge of the counterpoint of others and our own actions. Ultimately, it helps us to distill information about our own personal relationships with others and gives us a chance to apply what we have been learning into the here and now for metamorphosis to occur. Communication and listening to others is the name of the game, because on the 29th the Sun, Mercury and the South Node will join in the sky together at 6°. This asks for us to wrap up the old ways of communicating and listening to others in order for a new cycle within these realms to occur.

The ruler of this triple conjunction, Venus in Scorpio, will be inconjunct the north node in Aries at this time. This is a full phase inconjunct, which denotes improvement within our relationships. “My will versus your will”. Are you repeating and recycling old emotional patterns? Or are you metamorphosing the past from the inside out in order for new to come to fruition.

During this time, the North Node of Mercury will be at 21° Virgo and square to Jupiter in Gemini, both ruled by Mercury in Libra whilst conjunct the lunar south node and Sun. This helps us to apply what we have been expanding upon to advance authentically. It also helps us to practice and sharpen our listening skills so that we can hear where another is actually coming from and learn that there is unity in diversity at this time. Ultimately this helps us to start this brand-new cycle and chapter of how we relate and share with others.
