Venus Enters Capricorn, Leo Full Moon, Mercury Mars Conjunction & Uranus Station

Hello Everyone,

Today, the 23rd of January, we have Venus entering the sign of Capricorn. This is dynamic energy as there are multiple astrological conversations happening as this occurs. Venus is about our relational needs. This relates to how we need to understand what we value and need and then to become self-sufficient in providing that for ourselves, and also, what we value and need out of our partnerships. This can look like, “if I am someone who values personal growth and is constantly growing and evolving, it is important for me to be with someone who values and needs the same within a relationship and within themselves”. This helps to establish equality within partnerships by first becoming what you need and value. This also helps us to attract that in our lives, we can also see how when this isn’t done how it can become its own issue of attracting someone with similar dynamics as a way to learn about ourselves and others, sometimes through extremes. Venus has been the ruler of the South Node in Libra since July of last year (2023). For 18 months prior to that, Venus was the ruler of the North Node in Taurus. We had been going deep within to expose emotional and psychological dynamics about ourselves and the conditioning that led to these dynamics. We were called to apply that information in a way that would help to establish new values and needs through self-reflection and inner listening. Now with the South Node in Libra and Venus being the ruler, we have been coming face to face with prior relational dynamics that we can no longer relate to. We see the extremes and dependencies highlighted. This is because the conscious work we were doing by getting to understand ourselves on a personal level when the North Node was in Taurus, has helped us to now understand what we have outgrown through our individuation processes highlighted by Uranus in Taurus throughout these transits.

With Venus in the sign of Capricorn, we can be understanding more about what we might have suppressed about ourselves and are now coming to understand through self-reflection about what is natural about us, what we need to liberate from the inside out. Venus in Capricorn reflects to us that sometimes it takes time to understand what is below the surface, but to trust the process that if we make a conscious choice to self-reflect, the information will bubble up. With Uranus in Taurus ruled by Venus at this time, we are called now to objectify what we have reflected upon further. This creates more awareness within. It is a time where external events that echo the past traumas (Uranus in Taurus ruled by Venus in Capricorn) of where we felt rejected, or falsely judged can be triggered in order for that information to surface through self-reflection and then to observe the emotions. It is an important time to connect feelings (Taurus) to emotions (the Polarity of Capricorn, Cancer). To be self-determined to understand oneself so emotional maturation can happen. None of us really know how much the past is projected onto the here and now, and this is a time to reflect on what gets triggered so that we can reflect, objectify, and individuate from those prior dynamics. This is seen with Pluto in Aquarius and ruled by Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is ruled by Venus in Capricorn and Venus is ruled by Saturn in Pisces. Saturn in Pisces asks for the sincere intention to self-reflect in order to culminate these long-standing dynamics. This helps us to continue to radically transform our relationship to self, Uranus in Taurus.

Saturn in Pisces is also in a first quarter trine to the Moon in Cancer as Venus enters Capricorn. With Saturn in a first quarter trine to the Cancer Moon, our emotions can be accessed through the feelings of alienation from outdated structures and areas of awareness. This can show us what is at a standstill growth wise within. There can be fear towards moving forwards because of the unknown way it will ‘look or feel’. There can be a strong draw to go back into one’s shell, just like the Cancer crab. This reflecting prior known ways of feeling secure that aren’t working anymore, but the familiarity feels comforting. This can be an illusion that we are meant to break free from and to discover new ways through diving into the seas of our emotions. This helps the Venus in Capricorn function through the willingness to reflect on where we are present moment and where we have come from. This helps us to feel what is wanting to surface so the current can bring us forward. There’s a promise of emotional maturation if we are willing to be self-determined to understand ourselves. The emotions can be accessed, and freedom can come forth (Uranus being ruled by Venus). So, there is this dance that is wanting to play out between Uranus and Saturn functions right now. Self-reflection of emotional dynamics that are wanting to be understood and observed in order to liberate and become more emotionally mature. Thus, helping to culminate cycles.

Later in the day the Moon will square the Nodes with the North Node as the resolution along with Chiron. Mars is in Capricorn entering a square to the nodes, firing off a cardinal cross, with the resolution of Mars being the South Node. Mars in Capricorn can be about the need to act on the suppressed desires that stem from being oppressed by some type of ‘authority’. This can be seen collectively right now, and how there has been wounds created stemming from this dynamic, seeing as Chiron is a part of this equation. On personal levels, we are being asked to dive into our emotions that correlate with this type of wounding and the need to reflect on the imbalances that have occurred stemming from this type of conditioning or ‘programming’. This symbolizes Mars and the resolution being the South Node. This helps us to take responsibility for our relationship to self-symbolized by the SN being ruled by Venus in Capricorn. The need to go backwards to move forwards. Mars and Venus are ruled by Saturn in Pisces, this reflects the above-mentioned dynamics being pulled into this. With the Moon opposing Mars, we are called to throw off these dynamics and then with the resolution to the Moon being the North Node, we are then called to be self-determined to grow and mature through this as a way of self-actualizing. There is the dynamic feeling of two steps forward, one step back. Venus is also ruling Jupiter in Taurus, which speaks to expanding what we know about ourselves and then through that, to live authentically by applying this information to the here and now. Pluto in Aquarius being ruled by Uranus in Taurus speaks to individuating through accessing the emotional body. The body in physical form can actually help us to do that by paying attention to the feelings that arise and then observing what emotions that is linked with. The Cardinal Cross also reflecting where we are at an evolutionary crossroads, whatever choices made will be a part of our ongoing evolutionary journey and they will reflect that choice (evolve or try to hold onto the past).

On the 25th, the Moon in Leo will oppose Pluto exactly a couple hours before it opposes the Sun in Aquarius, symbolizing a Full Moon in Leo, ruled by that Sun. With the Moon opposing Pluto exactly right before the Full Moon, we can see there is a huge call to individuate through our emotional dynamics and accessing what surfaces at this time, so that we can integrate the knowledge. Looking at what has constituted our since of security. This pulls in the Uranian signature (Uranus in Taurus) strongly, helping our continued transformation of our relationship to ourselves and our own self-sufficiency and reliance. This energizes the Full Moon in Leo happening at 5° 14′.

The Full Moon symbolizes completion and the need to live out whatever knowledge we have learned about ourselves dealing with emotional dynamics that are surfacing and pointing to completion during this Full Moon. With this being a Leo Full Moon, we are dealing with the dynamics of self-actualization. All the hard work that has been done on a personal level is meant to be lived in the present moment. The feelings of comparison need to be liberated from, this is seen with Uranus and the SN being ruled by Venus, in tandem with the oppositional nature of the Full Moon. Comparison has helped show us that we are different and unique individually, but in order to be an equal we must see that in all, and not get hung up which is better or less than. The Full phase wants us to throw off the past and to live fully through the work that has been done since the New Phase (6 months ago when we had a new moon in Leo). Are you comparing yourself to others? Is it preventing you from living authentically? Are you afraid of being judged for being yourself? Are you thinking in fragmented terms, meaning “wrong or right”, “positive or negative”, “black or white”? These dynamics can surface in order for us to become aware of emotional content that wants to surface dealing with suppressed emotions. Leo wants us to declare and self-actualize through self-love and an open heart. This also pulls in the Sun in Aquarius, its ruler. Sometimes we can feel different or alienated but the need is to be a group of one if necessary for the time being. Then through projecting our authenticity outwards our vibration will pull in the community and friends we yearn for. The Moon and the Sun are in a square to Jupiter in Taurus, ruled by Venus in Capricorn. Authenticity is being asked of us and for it to be lived out fully. Venus in Capricorn asks for us to be self-determined to do so even if we are fearful of being wrongly judged for who we are. Prior trauma from the past can surface dealing with this. We are to utilize this to self-reflect in order to grow and liberate. The feeling of wanting of fear can be strong because it is the ‘unknown’, but we are called to be courageous. Acting on this helps us to expand further, especially regarding our ‘inner knowing’ and the individuating process, itself.

Venus is in a last quarter sextile to its ruler, Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is in a crescent sextile to Jupiter. This is beautiful energy for this full moon. Venus in a last quarter sextile to Saturn in Pisces reflects the need to fully integrate what we have been coming to understand about how we structure our inner reality to self. To commit to the process and be self-determined to do so. To be our own authority in life in a natural way. Saturn in a crescent sextile to Jupiter in Taurus ruled by that Venus speaks to being able to integrate these truths about ourselves and to expand upon them in an authentic way. It is about the journey of knowing oneself sincerely and authentically. We can easily access the inner voice and wisdom from Source at this time, what direction we are meant to take. We just have to make a conscious choice to listen from within.

Mars in Capricorn is tied into this energy as it is in a last quarter square to Chiron and the North Node, with the South Node being its resolution. As we enter fully as an equal through understanding who we are and continuing the journey to do so, we then get to change our awareness around old wounds dealing with the above dynamics. This is still firing off the Cardinal Cross two days earlier. This helps us to be a role model in these times if we are consciously doing our part to grow and evolve, to mature. It also helps with our self-reliance and self-esteem. This is reflected in the Taurus energies being pulled into the conversation.

Mercury in Capricorn is balsamic to Mars, both ruled by Saturn in Pisces who is in a Gibbous inconjunct to the Moon in Leo. This speaks to the culmination process that happens after we actualize the full phase of the moon. In order to get there, we need to continue to restructure how we think, express, and understand ourselves as a way to continue to dissolve the old structures. Ending cycles. Especially regarding generational and societal. The Gibbous inconjunct from Saturn to the Moon in Leo speaks self-improvement. This comes from not only dissolving old structures and ways of processing information (Mars/Mercury balsamic), but from the pure intention of self-love and equality. For some self-improvement may stem from needing to self-improve upon viewing others as an equal to themselves and needing to know why. The ‘what’s underneath this feeling and thinking that needs to be exposed”. For some it can be about overcompensating from feeling inferior. There are a lot of ways this can be triggered, but no matter the case, the call is to self-actualize through liberation and authenticity.

Uranus in Taurus is in a disseminating trine to Mars and Mercury, helping us all to be able to easily objectify these inner feelings and dynamics that stem from past thinking, crystallized thinking and information, and the need to dive into the emotions instead of suppressing. If we consciously work with this energy, Mars and Mercury’s ruler, Saturn in Pisces helps us to dive deeply to access the new knowledge wanting to be disseminated. This helps us to further change our relationship to self at this time, and to liberate from the known. This happens right before Uranus stations direct on the 26th. For some this can be part of the resolving process stemming from what they’ve been reviewing and reexperiencing during this past Uranus rx cycle that started back at the end of August of 2023. Whatever awareness that has been gained is asked to be put into motion stemming from that time period.

On the 26th Mercury and Mars will conjunct exact at 16° Capricorn, where Mercury will move forwards and pass Mars entering into a new phase. This is propelled by the energy of the Full Moon the day before. Neptune the ruler of Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) is in a last quarter square to Ceres in Sagittarius. Does what you believe impact how you show up in the world? Ceres in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter in Taurus who is square the Sun at this time asks for us to recover our authenticity and to act on the knowledge that we have learned about ourselves. Jupiter square the Sun in a first quarter phase asks us to act on the desires to apply the new knowledge of an individual nature that we have come to understand. This helps us to live authentically, and to expand more upon this knowledge through action and the feedback we receive. This helps us to self-improve further and to gain new knowledge about ourselves and our journey to individuate.

Uranus is stationing this same day and is ruled by Venus in Capricorn. This also creates an initiatory energy and the need to be our own authority by showing up in the world as we are. Again, whatever information and knowledge we have gained about ourselves over the past six months is asking to be applied. Uranus is also square the Moon in Leo in a first quarter phase. The call is to act on actualizing this. Fear can creep up because of it reflecting something new. We are meant to act, not repress. This helps us to continue to objectify our inner reality and to learn more. This also helps us to liberate from where we have felt stuck or ‘fixed’ in energy and dynamics.
